Fascinated by the changing energy of the universe, Julia fuses a state of mindfulness with intuitive, spontaneous enthusiasm. The painting becomes wholly who she is on that day. She is currently experimenting with a non-attachment process of creating, destroying and re-creating the same painting to approach new possibilities. The bold color combinations, textures and shapes invite the viewer into a spiraling world of visual expressionistic experience.
